Has been approved to host an "L" Program Part 2


This evaluative session will start on with session D1 on  April 4-5,2015 in Leesburg VA with instructor William Solyntjes.

New Part 2 Approved for Tennessee

Central Tennessee Dressage Association has Been Approved to Host a  Part 2

The  Part 2 Evaluative Sessions are open to USDF Participating members who have completed Part 1 and have three scores of 60% or higher at second level or above.

This Part 2 starts with D1 June 6-7th 2015 in Franklin, TN with Kathy Rowse  as instructor.

New "L" Program for Region 3

Georgia Dressage and Combined Training Association( GDCTA) has been approved to host a Part 1 and Part 2 of the "L"  Education Program.


 Part 1 (Sessions A,B, and C) is open to all USDF members and is valuable education for all riders and trainers as well as being the prerequisite for USEF 'r' Judge Training Program.

Part 2 (Sessions D1, D2 and Final Exam) is the evaluative sessions open to Participating members with three verified scores at Second Level or above.

  The GDCTA Program will start with Session A on November 22, 2014 with   Marilyn Heath as the instructor.  For complete information on session dates and locations, visit the USDF Education Calendar

 After a successful graduation, candidates are referred to as “L” Graduates. “L” Graduates are NOT licensed dressage judges. Therefore, they may not advertise themselves as “L” judges


The “L” program offers a comprehensive curriculum created to teach participants and auditors how to evaluate dressage performance at Training through Second Level. It is not just for those who want to become licensed dressage judges. The program’s intent is to give competitors, trainers, and instructors a broader insight into the evaluative techniques of judging dressage, qualify individuals to officiate at schooling shows, serve as continuing education for licensed judges, and to serve as a prerequisites for entering into the United States Equestrian Federation ‘r’ Judges Training Program.

New "L" Education Program in Central CA




 Whether you are looking to start the journey to become a licensed Dressage Judge or want to learn more about the evaluative techniques of judging dressage.  The "L" Education Program is for you.

The LA Chapter of CDS (California Dressage Society) has been approved to host a Part 1, (The Judges Perspective).

Part 1 sessions will be held in Santa Rosa Valley. The dates and instructors are:
