*Denotes those who have graduated with distinction from the "L" Program and may be eligible to enter the USEF “r” program.
The above "L" graduates will also be listed on the USDF website in Instructors & Officials list.

 After a successful graduation, candidates are referred to as “L” Graduates. “L” Graduates are NOT licensed dressage judges. Therefore, they may not advertise themselves as “L” judges

The “L” program offers a comprehensive curriculum created to teach participants and auditors how to evaluate dressage performance at Training through Second Level. It is not just for those who want to become licensed dressage judges. The program’s intent is to give competitors, trainers, and instructors a broader insight into the evaluative techniques of judging dressage, qualify individuals to officiate at schooling shows, serve as continuing education for licensed judges, and to serve as a prerequisites for entering into the United States Equestrian Federation ‘r’ Judges Training Program.

New Continuing Education in Dressage Judging Credited Workshop in Region 6

 

The Oregon Dressage Society will be hosting some wonderful educational workshops during their annual meeting including this Workshop for Judges, L graduates and anyone enrolled in the "L" Program:

• Applying Biomechanics to Judging - a USDF Continuing Education in Dressage Judging Credited Workshop — with two of the best dressage judge educators in the country – Marilyn Heath of Naples, FL and Trenna Atkins of Coupesville, WA – Part one will be open to all intersted meeting attendees and part two will be open only to eligible participants (Must be current USEF Judge, USDF “L” Graduate, USDF Members currently enrolled in the “L” Program; all participants must be current USDF Members).   Delaware Valley Dressage and Combined Training Association's (DVCTA) "L" Program Part 2 has an opening for the Final exam starting October 17th. If you are looking to retest for distinction or  just need to take the final exam, contact Darcy Miller for more information.
