If you need the D2 and Final Exam to complete the “L” Program or are a “L” Graduate looking to become an "L" Graduate with Distinction you are eligible. If you are interested or would like more information please contact CARA "L" Program Organizer: Dorie Vlatten- Schmitz

**If candidates achieve a lower score at the re-testing, in either the written or practical

portion of the final exam, the new scores will count. If either score, written or practical is

below the minimum passing score their name will be deleted from the list of “L”

The 2012 USDF “L” Participant flash drive update is now available!

The updates to the flash drive provide updated information and enhanced handouts that follow the teaching presentations. You’ll also notice changes in the materials based upon the updates to the USEF Rule Book and Directives.

PLEASE NOTE:

All current “L” Participants/Candidates are responsible for bringing the 2012 updated materials to their “L” Program sessions.

Current “L” Participant Flash drive owners: Please follow the directions below to update your flash drive to the 2012 materials. If you have any questions or problems updating your "L" Program Flash Drive feel free to contact me.

Current “L” Participant Binder owners: It is highly recommended that you replace the materials within Session A, B, C, D1&2, Final Exam and Homework sections of your binder. For the ease of staying up to date on the “L” Program material, it is recommended that you consider purchasing the “L” Participant Flash drive. The USDF “L” Participant Flash drive when inserted, into a computer with internet access, will automatically update the materials. The USDF “L” Flash drive is available through the USDF Store.

*The hard copy version of the USDF “L” Participant materials is no longer available for purchase, as of the 2011 edition. Only the USDF “L” Participant Flash drive will be available and sold through the USDF store.

The Virginia Dressage Association has applied for a Part 1 and was approved. The dates, locations and instructors are as follows:

Use of Half Points

Attention "L" Grads and "L" Grads with Distinction

Please note that as of December 1st, 2011, per USEF Rule DR 122.8, half points (.5) for movements and collective marks may be used at the discretion of the judge. Please remind your scribe to record all scores, with a decimal point (i.e. as 6.0 instead of 6). We need your help in correctly recording scores for all involved. If the scores are not entered as required the competition office may have to return the sheets to be completed. We need your help in correctly recording scores for all involved, the judge(s), competition management and the competitor.
